Today, on the basis of the Nextelligence’s workshop, we’ve started the trial operation of the new 6 axis arm KUKA KR 6 R900-2. This unit is one of the most advanced robots in its class for the moment. We pin great hopes on it and plan to use it to gain industrial automation experience and simulate example projects of routine processes’ automation for our partners.
The use of robotic systems in medicine and in other spheres of life is not surprising in the Western semisphere, but in Russia, the level of robotic systems’ penetration in the industry remains at an unacceptably low level. The penetration of robotization in our country is ~4 robots per 10,000 workers, while, for example, in top-ranked South Korea, this figure is 700 per 10,000 workers.
